お盆休みはいかがお過ごしでしたか？
私は２日ほど実家でゆっくりさせてもらいました。

友達の息子、３歳と６歳の湘南ボーイがやって来て、私の娘
１０歳と１２歳の越後ガールと遊ぶ様子がなんだかとても
微笑ましく思えました。

まあ子ども達同士仲良く遊んでもらえれば、大人は楽です。
親は親同士、昔話しに花を咲かせることができました。

あとは子どもたちと水と土の芸術祭の作品を見に行きました。
最初の目的地は実家から車で１０分かからないところにある
「バンブーハウス」王さんの作品です。

お盆休みの食べ過ぎを何とかしたいという思いから
「歩いて行こう！」と提案。汗だくで目的地まで行きましたが
長い距離を歩くにはふさわしくない靴で出かけてしまったため
靴擦れができ「ママ、もうだめ」とリタイア。
次の目的地には行かず、家に帰りました。

バンブーハウスの中にあるベンチに寝転び上を見ると

こんな空が見えました。
この時だけは足の痛さを忘れることができました。

今も足の指３本に絆創膏が巻いてあります。
これも夏の思い出ですね。

今日は１３日お盆ですね。
午前中雨が降って少し涼しくなったでしょうか？

さて、先週は新潟市中央区美の里にあります
ヤマハリビングテック新潟ショールームをお借りして
夏休み子ども向け講座
「夏にチャレンジ！君の好奇心にスイッチオン」 を開催。
各講座定員１０名揃って賑やかに楽しく、時に集中して
２時間しっかり取り組みました。

１日目は「香育講座」講師はアロマテラピーアドバイザーの梨本美和さん

精油ができるまでの行程をホワイトボードに書き、それを一生懸命
書き写し、まとめている子ども達の真面目な表情と、先生が持って来て下さった
いろいろな香りを嗅いで、「これいい香り〜、あ、これ臭い！ 」と
百面相のように変わる子ども達の顔を見ているだけでも楽しかったです。
自分の好きな香りのルームスプレー家で使ってね。

２日目は「野菜講座」講師は野菜ソムリエの木村正晃さん

この回には男の子も参加してくれました。
当日は木村さんが、私たちが普段目にし口にする野菜から、
何これ、なんていう名前の野菜？というものまで バラエティ豊かに
用意して下さって、大人の私も早く味見がしたくて仕方なかったです。

最終日は「ネイル講座」講師はフリーネイリスト若杉ちひろさん

女の子はいつでもおしゃれに興味があります。
今は子ども向けのマニキュアも売られていますが、マニキュアを塗る前に
爪のことを知ってもらいたいと思いました。若杉先生は子どもたちにも
わかりやすい資料を１０枚も作ってきて下さいました。
爪の健康、マニキュアの歴史など、いっぱい勉強したね。その後は実践！
かわいいネイルアートが たくさんできました。

子ども達の好奇心は無限です。機会があれば他のエリアでもやってみたいです。
私にとってもこの講座は、チャレンジでした。反省するところも多々あります
ので次回に生かしたいと思います。

子ども達の夏休みも中盤になりますが
毎日我が家は賑やかです。

私の靴も混じっていますが、ほぼ毎日こんな感じです。

何でもありのようです。
長女の中学生の友達、次女の小学生の友達と先輩後輩で
